Long Course Weekend

Location: Colònia Sant Jordi, Mallorca

MEDAL EVENTS: Swim, Run, LCW Duo (3.8km Swim & 42.2km Run), Kids Race

This unique event takes place last days in April – the perfect way to begin your season of racing. This fun inclusive format is ideal for clubs, training groups and families to come along and enjoy the benefits of training and racing together. The town of Colonia Sant Jordi is situated in the south of Mallorca and is famed for its beautiful beaches and the protected marine area around the small island of Cabrera. The crystal clear water will be the site of the swimming. The running will take you to Mallorca’s southernmost tip while finishing things off with a loop around Colonia Sant Jordi’s amazing coastline. To kick off the weekend Saturday, April 20, 2024, the Long Course Weekend athletes can participate in two different distances in the swimming discipline: 1.9km or 3.8km. To conclude the event, on Sunday, April 21, 2024, the foot race will take place, in which athletes can participate in the distance they prefer: marathon (42.2km), half marathon (21.1km), 10 km or 5km. Of course, there will also be a place for the little ones, who will be able to participate in the "Kids race". Also, to obtain the coveted third medal, the athletes can participate in the FULL Long Course Weekend DUO that brings together the maximum distances of both disciplines: 3.8km of swimming and 42.2km of running.
