About the Long Course Weekend DUO

This exceptional event takes place during the first few days of May, offering a fun and inclusive format perfect for clubs, training groups, and families looking to enjoy the experience of training and competing together as a team. Colonia Sant Jordi, located in the southern part of Mallorca, is renowned for its stunning beaches and the protected marine reserve surrounding the small island of Cabrera. The swimming segment will take place in its crystal-clear waters, while the running course will lead athletes to the southernmost tip of the island, following a breathtaking route along Colonia Sant Jordi’s spectacular coastline. The weekend kicks off on Saturday, May 3, 2025, with Long Course Weekend participants choosing between two swimming distances: 1.9 km or 3.8 km. The event concludes on Sunday, May 4, 2025, with a foot race where athletes can select their preferred distance: a marathon (42.2 km), half marathon (21.1 km), 10 km, or 5 km. Additionally, the youngest participants will have the chance to take part in the special "Kids Race". For those seeking an even greater challenge, there’s the opportunity to earn the coveted third medal by competing in the FULL Long Course Weekend DUO, which combines the maximum distances of both disciplines: 3.8 km of swimming and 42.2 km of running. Alternatively, athletes can opt for the HALF Long Course Weekend DUO, featuring 1.9 km of swimming and 21.1 km of running.
